Marcelo and Selina Zapata have been wine importers in the Southeast since 2002, and founded COMPASS WINE GROUP in 2006. Marcelo belongs to the 8th generation of one of the most traditional families from Mendoza, Argentina, who settled in this city at the foothills of the Andes Mountains to cultivate grapes in 1723.
DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS:
COMPASS WINE GROUP sells and distributes directly to restaurants, wine shops, catering companies and specialty chain retailers in the state of North Carolina and Georgia.
IMPORT OPERATIONS:
COMPASS WINE GROUP currently works with a network of wine distribution companies in the states of Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
